PHILANTHROPY

At Lambda Chi Alpha, giving back to our community is at the heart of everything we do. Each year, we host our Feed the Need 5K — bringing together brothers, friends, and supporters to raise thousands of dollars for Feeding San Diego. In 2025, we raised over $4,000 through the event, reflecting our chapter's ongoing commitment to fighting food insecurity and making a meaningful impact right here in San Diego.

Our philanthropic reach extends beyond our own campus as well. Brothers of Lambda Chi from both UCSD and USD proudly participate in SDSU's annual Golf Charity Tournament benefiting the Warriors For Peace Foundation, consistently helping to raise tens of thousands of dollars in support of our nation's veterans. In 2025, our collective efforts helped raise over $40,000 across 18 holes and a live auction. From alumni and parents to sponsors and friends, these events are a true community effort — and a reflection of the values that define our brotherhood year after year.
